Adam Scott books his place in the US Open….just!

It would’ve almost been unthinkable if Adam Scott didn’t get a start in this year’s US Open.

After all, the former world number one hasn’t missed a major appearance in almost 17 years, with his 67 straight appearances since the 2001 British Open second only to Sergio Garcia’s 75.

But fear not…..the world No.64 Scott finally secured a berth to next week’s US Open at Shinnecock Hills via the gruelling, 36-hole qualifying event in Columbus, Ohio.

He’ll join 8 other Australians in the field.

Great stuff Scotty!
