Adam Scott’s secret weapon at the US PGA

Adam Scott’s third placing at the US PGA tournament featured some clutch putts throughout the four rounds, and his caddy Mike Waite has revealed to Julian King the secret behind his form on the greens.

“In practice he’s using the short putter and he’s finding it’s a great training aid. He’s using the short putter only in practice and when he pulls out the broomstick (in his round), it just feels great in his hands.”

The long putter certainly did it’s job, but it won’t be around forever.

“I don’t think it’ll be long and I think he’ll give the short one a run, but he looks really good with it.”
