AFL fans brave the cold to line up for Grand Final seats

Thousands of footy fans have braved the drizzling rain and cold conditions outside the MCG on Grand Final morning.

MCC members have been queuing since before dawn on their annual pilgrimage to the ‘G to watch West Coast play Collingwood in the 2018 decider.

 

One brave couple pitched a tent on Wednesday night and have not moved since.

Richmond hero Matthew Richardson believes this year’s game will go to the wire, but narrowly favours Collingwood to win their 16th Premiership.
