Bernard Foley says Wallabies must improve

Wallabies flyhalf Bernard Foley says his team must continue to improve if they are to knock over Ireland for the second time in as many weeks on Saturday.

The Aussies defeated Ireland 18-9 in the first Test at Suncorp Stadium last week after trailing the tourists early in the second half.

The Wallabies forward pack were strong against their opposition but Foley says they must improve.

“That’s the challenge for us – to replicate last week and also improve on it,” Foley said.

“We can’t just be happy with one win, we’re striving for a second and a third.

“Ireland have been number two in the world, they won the Six Nations, I think they were undefeated for 12 matches.

“We know they’re going to come back with a vengeance and that’s going to be the challenge for us to match them.”

The second Test kicks off at 8:00PM at AAMI Park in Melbourne and will be broadcast on Macquarie Sports Radio around Australia and online.
