Crystal Palace just sprung the mother of all upsets
Crystal Palace sprung the upset of the season on Sunday morning, beating league leaders Manchester City in Manchester.
Palace, who entered the match within a game of the drop zone, beat the mighty City 3-2 with goals to Jeffrey Schlupp, Andros Townsend, and Luke Milivojevic.
Townsend’s goal was particularly spectacular (and you can watch it here).
City pulled it back to 3-2 with five minutes from time, but Palace held on for three memorable points.
Leicester City also had an upset victory overnight, beating Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge. Jamie Vardy was the game’s only scorer in the 51st minute.
