Denis Pagan’s message to under-fire Carlton coach

Former Carlton coach Denis Pagan says despite exterior noise, Brendon Bolton’s future at the club will simply come down to wins and losses.

The Blues have won one game in 2018 and just two matches since Round 14 in 2017, which has seen fans question the club’s direction.

Pagan, who led the club between 2003 and 2007, told Afternoons that at the end of the day, Bolton needed to win more games as coach.

“The results are the only thing that matter in AFL football,” Pagan said.

“If you want to sell hope to your supporters, you all have to be on the same page.”
