‘The negative outweighs the positive’ Dragons Star on NRL Media coverage

St George Illawarra Dragons’ Jeremy Latimore has told Macquarie Sports Radio’s Halftime with James Willis that he is disappointed with the way the media portrayed the Bulldogs Mad Monday celebrations:

“The most disappointing thing about the Bulldogs thing is it was behind closed doors, they have actively sought them out…”

“I’m not saying that the behaviour was right or anything but, 24 rounds it’s tough, and it’s a roller coaster, and the guys have gone to have a beer behind closed doors, and that’s the most disappointing thing.”

Latimore also told James Willis that we should follow the American sports model to give fans better access to the game.:

“You look at the American sports and they are allowed to do whatever they want, and the fans love it, and they speak their mind, it would be good if we could have a little bit of that and the media come along with us.”

“The negative seem to outweighs the positive but hopefully we can shorten that gap and get some more positive stuff out there”

The St George Illawarra Dragons play the South Sydney Rabbitohs on Saturday 15/09/18  –  7:40pm  – ANZ Stadium.
