Eddie McGuire: “I feel for Brendon Goddard”
Collingwood President Eddie McGuire has told Mornings’ David Morrow and Matt Thompson on Macquarie Sports Radio that he feels for Essendon’s Brendon Goddard who has come under criticism for yelling at teammates during their 49-point loss to the Pies on ANZAC Day.
McGuire said: “You can’t sit around holding hands singing kumbaya in front of 91,000… sometimes you’ve gotta give it a bit of tough love”.
