The fullback is now free to play for the Storm in Sunday’s NRL Grand Final.

Speaking on Macquarie Sports Radio with Mark Levy and Mark Riddell Panthers legend Greg Alexander weighed in on the debate, “I think the game created the situation we’ve found ourselves in last night and if I was on that panel all I needed was a plausible argument because I just couldn’t come to grips with with Billy Slater missing a Grand Final because of that tackle.

Alexander went on to address concerns that the result might see an increase in the number of shoulder charges we see in the NRL, “I don’t think this will start a spate of shoulder charges in the game. I think that’s going way over the top.”
