Ian Chappell recalls Barry Richards’ 325 not out in a day

On November 20, 1970 opener Barry Richards scored a then world record of 325 not out in a single day’s play against Western Australian featuring Dennis Lillee and Graham McKenzie at the WACA.

Another big score on that day was Ian Chappell with 129, South Australia went onto declared 575-9.

Chappell joined Macquarie Sports Radio and recalled that momentous day.
