Australia beat India by 146 runs

Australia has finally shaken the monkey off the back winnings its first test match since the ball-tampering scandal in South Africa.

A 146 run victory over India in the second test draws the series level at one-all, and provides a first test win for coach Justin Langer and captain Tim Paine.

Pat Cummins took the final wicket at Perth Stadium to give Australia its first test victory in nine long months.

Macquarie Sports Radio’s Darren Lehmann spoke with the winning coach Justin Langer after the match.
