Indy 500 winner Will Power keen to race the Bathurst 1000
Australian Will Power made motorsport history in May when he won one of the biggest event’s on the world sport’s calendar, the Indy 500.
In front of more than 300 thousand people Power drove his Penske to victory just hours after countryman Daniel Ricciardo won the equally prestigious Monaco Formula One Grand Prix.
Power has discussed his victory and career with Clinton and Sam and says he still has much to achieve in motorsport.
Power says he’d love a shot at racing Supercars and the Bathurst 1000 again. Power’s US team Penske now runs the Dick Johnson racing Supercar team and he says if calendar’s match up he’d be keen to drive around the mountain.
