This Invictus story will make you a proud Aussie

Australian veterans say the Invictus Games are helping them recover from the physical and mental scars left by their service.

Davin Bretherton, who served in Somalia, had a leg amputated below the knee following a training accident in Adelaide.

He won silver in sailing and will compete in the Wheelchair Rugby finals at the Invictus Games.

The Aussie team put on a show of sportsmanship in their win over New Zealand passing the ball to a Kiwi opponent who is a tetraplegic after a military accident.

Veteran Davin Bretherton then gave him a push to get him over the line for his nation.

Davin says the Games are part of his recovery.
