“It was glorious” – Brett Finch’s favourite Grand Final moment

This years NRL Grand Final produced many moments and many images that will remain with people for years to come. Cooper Cronk battling through with a broken shoulder or Luke Keary stepping up when his team needed him most are two notable moments

Former NRL star Brett Finch joined the Macquarie Sports Breakfast show this morning and he spoke about his most enduring memory from this years grand final, Dylan Napa partying in his playing gear. “Glorious. It was glorious. I used to do that when we’d get beaten on a Sunday. We’d get lapped by 40 and i’d still be wearing my Parra (Parramatta) gear, me and the Pig (Mark Riddell) walking down Bayswater Road trying to get a taxi. It was glorious. That was just a throwback wasn’t it. You know what, that will live with Dylan. When you’ve got Grand Final celebrations you’ve got Joey on the skateboard, you’re going to have Dylan Napa in his playing gear. That’s going to be there in 20 years time.”
