Jake McLeod on the third round controversy at the Australian Open
Jake McLeod joined Christian Jantzen on Nights after his third place finish at the Australian Open.
The Queenslander finished six shots behind winner Abraham Ancer but it could’ve been a lot different. McLeod was penalised after it was deemed he waited too long over a birdie putt.
“I didn’t agree with the officials. I just can’t wrap my head around that”.
“It was a pretty crucial moment in the round, that was to get to 9-under and I was leading at that stage”.
