Jeremy Paul: Michael Cheika is the best coach for the Wallabies

It’s D-Day for Michael Cheika. The Wallabies head coach is due to face the Rugby Australia board any minute now but does he have the boards full support or is it time to go?

And with just 10 months to go before the Rugby World Cup gets underway, questions have been raised over the ability of Wallabies coach Michael Cheika to “get the job done”, given the current losing streak of the Aussie side.

So who will make such a tough and crucial decision, especially given all the speculation surrounding his position as a winning coach?

Mark Levy and Mark Riddell from the Macquarie Sports Breakfast Show caught up with former Wallaby Jeremy Paul for his take on the situation.

Paul saying “I truly believe he is the best coach” comparing Cheika with other notable coaches from other codes who “achieved great results based on loyalty and stability” they brought to the team and not just on the amount of wins.

Do you agree?
