Jetta: Melbourne beginning to find consistency

Melbourne defender Neville Jetta says his side’s form turnaround started on ANZAC Day eve against Richmond.

While the Demons lost the 2017 premiers last week, they prevailed over Essendon by 36 points on Sunday to square their win-loss record in 2018 at 3-3 and much like 2017, Jetta has starred this year as a small defender.

The 28-year-old told Afternoons Melbourne was beginning to find consistency in week-to-week performance.

“Those lulls and swings in games are always hard to stop,” Jetta said.

“As team, I feel we’re starting to wrestle back momentum at certain times and with our young players coming through, there’s always pressure from the guys playing VFL (to retain our spots).”
