Manly, your supporters deserve a please explain

Mark Levy & Mark Riddell

Macquarie Sports Radio Breakfast Host Mark Levy is slamming the Manly Sea Eagles for banning a member of the club from the official Manly Members Council.

Cameron Saba claims he’s been removed from the Council, which is run by the NRL club, because “he doesn’t don’t uphold the values of the Sea Eagles”.

Mr Saba said he’s attended nearly 40 games over the past 2 seasons, including spending over $700 to go to a game in Christchurch, not to mention running supporter buses to away games in 2017, where most of them didn’t even break even, meaning he lost money.

The Sea Eagles are refusing to comment, simply saying it’s a private matter between the club and the member.

But, Mark Levy attacked the NRL club, claiming the officials are running a dictatorship, saying “the only thing missing is Kim Jong Un and a North Korean Flag”.

“The chief executive Lyall Gorman has been missing in action for months and now they’re gagging supporters from speaking their mind about the woes of the club” said Levy.
