Macquarie Sports Radio News

AFL identity Mark ‘Bomber’ Thompson has been cleared of drug trafficking.

The former Geelong coach and Essendon premiership captain was charged with three counts of drug trafficking following a police raid on his home last year.

The charges of drug possession remain.

Thompson told the court his life had gone into a spin following the Essendon supplements scandal in 2012.
