Mickelson’s actions “not in the spirit of the game”
Former professional golfer Matt Guyatt has criticised Phil Mickelson for deliberately hitting a putt while the ball was still rolling off the green at the US Open.
Mickelson was penalised two strokes for the unsportsmanlike move, and Guyatt has told Julian King that it’s just not in the spirit of the game.
“I think he regrets it. I’m sure he’d like to take it back and do things differently.”
