Murdoch feels warmth from the Suns

After 108 games with Geelong, delisted Cat Jordan Murdoch yesterday signed with the Gold Coast Suns as a delisted free agent.

Speaking on Macquarie Sports Radio, Murdoch admitted that he was “shocked and confused” by his delisting when he was told and he was “pretty close-minded” about his opportunities after that.

However, once he spoke to Stuart Dew at the Suns and toured the facilities he felt right at home in Queensland.

“If players that were attracted by the Gold Coast and thinking of going there, if they talk to the coaching staff like we did, I can’t see too many reasons not going.” said Murdoch.

More to come.
