New sports streaming app gives fans “total control”

Kayo Sports CEO Julian Ogrin says their new streaming app gives fans total control.

The standalone sports streaming service was officially launched on Monday after two weeks of beta testing, allowing users to stream AFL, NRL, cricket, A-League and more for $25 per month without needing a fixed Foxtel subscription.

Ogrin explained how it all worked.

“You can stream over 50 sports with no lock-in contract,” he said.

“It gives sports fans total control under one streaming service.”

He confirmed the app would be able to used on smart TVs in 2019.

“It’s just around the corner,” he said.
