The Everest set to be even bigger in 2019

More than 40 thousand people packed Royal Randwick for the running of the Everest to witness Jockey Kerrin McEvoy ride Redzel to first place for a second consecutive year.  The pair lead the 1200-metre race from the start to finish a clear winner over Trapeze Artist & Osborne Bulls.
The the race attracting the biggest crowd Randwick has seen in more than 20 years with the 13 million dollar prize pool making the Everest the richest race in Australia and the richest race in the world on turf.
Racing NSW CEO Peter V’landys has told Clinton and Sam the race will grow again next year with prize set to be even bigger…
