Mark Levy and Mark Riddell spoke with Roosters football manager Lee Bennett and asked what the mood has been like since the full time siren sounded.

“The team went out onto the field … once the crowd was gone to have a little moment, as it’s the last time the’d be together as a team and thanked the people that have helped throughout the year. ”

A fan day is currently underway out the front of Allianz Stadium with some of the premiership winning side expected to say thanks to their supporters with a meet and greet session with the public and signing.

Bennett says the club will be selective of which players are “in the best condition” to meet their fans, given the all night celebrations.
