Storm CEO: “I would be shocked if the view was taken for the game to shoot Bambi”

Melbourne Storm CEO Dave Donaghy joins Billy McGee and Mieke Buchan to talk about his team’s incredible performance to see them into another NRL Grand Final.

He spoke off the back of his teams 22-6 win over the Cronulla Sharks in the preliminary final. A game filled with controversy, Donaghy speaks on the Billy Slater shoulder charge and the comments by Cameron Smith who said he could retire if the Storm win the Grand Final.

On Cameron Munster’s contract talks Donaghy shared,  “we’ve progressed it a fair way down the track prior to the final series and from there we’ve put a hold on it (during this series)”

Cameron Smith has been touted as a possibly retirement after the end of this season if the Storm were to win but Donaghy says, “I feel confident that Cam will play on next year…”
