SOUTH AFRICA WIN BY 21 RUNS!
The tourists have easily won tonight’s T20 International at Metricon Stadium after rain reduced the match to 10 overs per side.
In front of 12,866 at Metricon Stadium – Gold Coast’s first-ever international match – Australia sent the tourists in and they took control from the outset.
Glenn Maxwell provided some resistance, blasting 38 off 23 balls but it proved to be in vain as South Africa coasted to victory.

WEATHER CLOSING IN
The predicted inclement weather looks to be closing in on the Gold Coast, with the Bureau of Meteorology issuing a severe weather warning.
THE BUILD UP
International men’s cricket hits the Gold Coast for the first time as Australia face off against South Africa in a one-off T20 International.
The Aussies will be hellbent on exacting revenge after losing the ODI series, while both sides will no doubt be looking for bragging rights in the shortest form of the game as the build up slowly begins to the T20 World Cup in Australia in less than two year’s time.
But weather may be an issue tonight, with severe storms predicted for the Gold Coast area.
Make sure you join Tim, Darren and the rest of the Macquarie Sports Radio Summer of Cricket team for all the action on the Gold Coast as Australia and South Africa square-off from Metricon Stadium.
