‘Tom has some thinking to do’ – Scott Lucas

Tom Langdon’s manager, Scott Lucas, has provided an update on his clients next moves, and didn’t rule out the possibility of Tom Langdon leaving the Pies, after another strong year.

“We were a bit disappointed and surprised. Collingwood can do whatever they like. There are time constraints though. We are obliged to do what is best for our client too though.” Lucas said on Macquarie Sports Radio Melbourne Breakfast.

Lucas maintains that he and Langdon are working with Collingwood, with Tom’s preference to stay, but other options are being explored to ensure that Langdon receives the best possible deal.

“There are a couple of suitors. There always is and we have to look at all these options. It is difficult to work with just one club.”

Langdon had another strong year for Collingwood, culminating in a near best on ground performance in the Grand Final, where he received one Norm Smith medal vote, from John Longmire.

Asked where Langdon will be next season, Lucas answer was very simple.

“I think Collingwood are still in the box seat, but Tom has some things to consider.”
