Tottenham’s bizarre streak against Crystal Palace continues!

Macquarie Sports Radio

In a quirky run, Tottenham has now won five games in a row against Crystal Palace 1-0.

Spurs fought through tough conditions on Sunday morning to win away at Selhurst Park, finding the game’s only goal through Juan Foyth in the 66th minute.

It stretches their winning streak over Palace to five games – each of which has been decided by a single goal.

Remarkably, the match before the streak started was won 1-0 by Palace, and seven of the sides’ last eight matches have been decided by that result.

The win keeps Tottenham two points behind leader Manchester City, although the three sides above Spurs all have a game in hand.

Elsewhere, Huddersfield’s Aussie midfielder Aaron Mooy starred as the EPL strugglers earned a valuable point against West Ham.

Mooy had a team-high 69 touches and forced a save out of keeper Lukasz Fabianski from long range.

The Terriers are stuck in the relegation zone after 12 matches, but the draw on Sunday morning has brought them within a point of safety.

In other overnight results:

  • Cardiff beat Brighton 2-1 with a 90th-minute Sol Bamba goal
  • Newcastle beat Bournemouth 2-1 at home
  • Watford snatched a late equaliser to draw away at Southampton
  • Leicester and Burnley played a scoreless draw

The Manchester Derby will take centre stage on Monday morning (3.30am Eastern) with United aiming to get back in touch with the top four.

Also tonight, Liverpool host Fulham; Chelsea take on Everton; and Arsenal play Wolves.
