Wade Graham: “It’s been a very disappointing year.”
With the scoreboard tied between the Sharks and the Panthers on Friday night and just minutes left on the clock, all Luke Lewis, Paul Gallen, and Wade Graham could do was watch from the sidelines.
The trio, all current and former representative stars, were helpless to jump in as they sat nursing various injuries.
Wade Graham has been out injured after scans confirmed the star backrower tore his ACL in the first qualifying finals match against the Roosters.
Mark Levy and Mark Riddell caught up with Wade Graham on Macquarie Sports Radio Breakfast and asked about how frustrating it is to watch on from the sidelines,
“It’s been a very disappointing year, it just hasn’t been my year and to end with an ACL rupture… it’s just not ideal. ”
Graham says he’s been going into Sharks training and helping out with the interim backrowers and their game plan, as he loves it and just can’t stay away.
Cronulla have a hard task on their hands without their major stars, but, can take some confidence in knowing they have won 4 out of the past 5 matches against Melbourne including the 2016 Grand Final match.
